These dry carbon parts made by (SPEED CARBON) in Italy have been used by the Ducati works team in recent years. The edges are reinforced with Kevlar to withstand hard use such as racing. Ultra-lightweight and with a high level of precision, the gloss is achieved by using the precision of the mold without spraying clear coat for finishing. You can't go wrong with CM carbon parts. I was shocked by how light it was. I've had this front fender on my machine for about two years, and it hasn't faded or cracked, nor has it become white and stained due to moisture getting into the clear layer, which is common with Japanese carbon. (It's the same bolt-on type as the original, with brake hose escape processing.) It seems to be compatible with the SS900ie (98-00) and the 2000 M900/400.
