DTC Evo 3 for racing tires for PANIGALE V4R 2023-2024 model.

Ducati Traction & Wheelie Control Evo 3 for racing tires is now also available for the Panigale V4 R. Developed in collaboration with Ducati Corse engineers to significantly improve track performance in rainy weather, whether with slicks or rain tires. An evolution of Ducati Traction Control, EVO3 features a sophisticated strategy derived from Ducati Corse that predicts when to open the throttle on corner exit. Typically, at the exit of this corner, the crankshaft acceleration peak as the driveline recovers power will cause the rear wheel to slip unexpectedly, impeding the rider's ability to apply full throttle at maximum lean angle. The new software predictively adjusts the torque delivered by the Desmosedici Stradale by adjusting the angular acceleration of the crankshaft for a smooth power recovery. This enables smooth behavior out of corners, improving rider control and feel. Additionally, the rider can use the throttle to slip the rear wheel more than the "normal" level and pivot the front wheel around the corner. This means that the system allows you to safely steer with the rear wheels, minimizing the risk of losing control of the vehicle. It can only be used in combination with a racing exhaust and can be set to 8 different positions (5 for dry, 3 for wet when rain tires are installed). In particular, Levels 1, 2, and 3 of DTC EVO 3 enable bike control that was previously only available to professional riders. Dedicated software allows riders to adapt control strategies to their driving style and grip conditions, leading to improved performance.
