BMC filters are made of multi-layered cotton gauze saturated with low-viscosity oil and covered with an epoxy-coated aluminum alloy mesh to protect against gasoline vapors and moisture in the air.

Impurities are captured by the oil and filtered by the cotton fibers. This method does not block the air passage and provides stable filter performance over a long period of time.
