By using this PowerShare outlet adapter, you can supply 120V 2.4kW of power using your GEN3 Mobile Connector and the battery of a PowerShare-equipped vehicle. To use this adapter, plug the GEN3 Mobile Connector into the charging port of a PowerShare-equipped vehicle and connect the adapter to the other end of the mobile connector. You can then plug in the electronic devices you wish to power using the PowerShare outlet adapter.

In addition to the 2026 Model Y Performance and 2026 Model YL, information from the US suggests that PowerShare may be available on US-manufactured 2026 Model Y Premium vehicles delivered in August; however, status regarding Japanese domestic specifications is currently unknown.

→ While V2L was possible in tests with a June 2026 Model YL, please note that because this is a 120V 60Hz US specification, 100V-only appliances (such as hairdryers that use motors) cannot be used. Furthermore, features may be restricted by future vehicle updates. Always use under the management of a qualified electrician. Because this is a US-specific Tesla product, official Tesla warranty coverage does not apply outside of the US. Please use this product for research and development by manufacturers, etc.

⚠️ In 2025-2026 Model Y models (commonly known as Juniper), it appears that standard RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) and LR (Long Range) grades do not come equipped with V2L (PowerShare) hardware. There is information suggesting that V2L (PowerShare) is possible on US-manufactured 2026 Model Y Premium vehicles delivered in August.
There is also information that it will be supported starting from the 2027 Model 3/Y Premium manufactured in September 2026. This has not been confirmed for Japanese domestic specifications.

We will explain the situation regarding the inclusion of this V2L hardware along with the technical background.
