The recommended settings for the Öhlins shock absorber "DU 044" are as follows:
●Spring preload: 11mm
●Rebound: 14 clicks ●Total length: 330mm
Stroke: 65mm
●Spring: 01091-31
Spring rate: 95N/mm
●Spring free length: 160mm
These settings are the recommended settings when installing "DU 044" on a Ducati Monster 600/900. Before riding, always check that the Ohlins basic settings are according to the recommended setting data. Also, read the Ohlins Owner's Manual on adjustments and settings before making any adjustments.

Please note the following when installing the Ohlins shock absorber:

●Tighten all screws to the specified torque. If they are not tightened properly, the parts may come loose. Conversely, if they are tightened too much, the parts may be damaged.
● Make sure there is nothing obstructing the movement of the shock absorber when the suspension is fully compressed or extended. If there is any interference, it will not function properly and may impair the stability of the vehicle.
