EVO has achieved further evolution
A compact smart body that is extremely lightweight and unparalleled. In addition to changing the shape of the newly designed clutch piston, the use of an alignment ball changes the point of contact with the push rod from a surface to a point, further improving operability.

Although the appearance of the color does not change much, there is no need to worry about color fading as it is uncolored. In addition, the hardness of the alumite surface has increased, making it highly durable. (Due to the characteristics of alumite, the gloss will be less than other colors.)


For example, in the case of a vehicle equipped with a φ12 master cylinder, the grip force can be reduced by approximately 25% compared to a standard φ26 release cylinder.

*Models from 2019 onwards will be gradually replaced with a new release. For new models, AE-38021 is compatible.
*Please note that models from 2000 and earlier can be used by replacing them with genuine push rods from 2001 and later. (The genuine push rod part number is 11721122A for a dry clutch and 11721192A for a wet clutch.The genuine part number for the anti-rotation insert is 71320043A.)

■Depending on the model, there may be a time lag in switching the push rod. If you are using this on a 2001 model year vehicle, we recommend measuring the length of the push rod. If it is 334.5mm, you can use it as is.

There are two types of piston diameters on the master cylinder side (φ13 or φ12) depending on the year and model, and when used in combination with a φ12 clutch master cylinder, it may become difficult to disconnect depending on the condition of the clutch.

In particular, in vehicles equipped with a square tank type clutch master cylinder or vehicles equipped with a clutch master cylinder without a lever adjuster mechanism, replacing the release cylinder reduces the piston stroke, making it difficult for the clutch to disengage. Poor cutting can be somewhat improved by completely breaking in the clutch disc, and in the case of a master cylinder with a lever adjuster, setting the lever further away, but please refer to the following when making your selection.

・Even if it's a little dull, it's good that it's easy to operate → (φ30mm)
・It's lighter than the original, and it doesn't cut poorly → (φ28mm)

・Vehicles equipped with square tank type clutch master cylinder
・Vehicles equipped with a clutch master cylinder that does not have a lever adjuster mechanism
・Super bike series
・When using Brembo RCS Clutch Master Radial φ16.

*Among the above vehicles, there are some models in which poor clutch engagement can be improved by replacing the lever with one with an adjuster. Please contact our store for details.
