DTC Evo 2 racing tires for the PANIGALE V4R 2019-2020 model.

 Ducati Traction & Wheel Control Evo 2 for slick tires is now available for the V4R. Developed in collaboration with Ducati Corse engineers, it significantly improves track performance in wet conditions, whether the bike is equipped with slick or rain tires. Based on the successful Evo2, it has been developed specifically for track use with racing tires. It is the perfect accessory for riders seeking maximum performance in all conditions. The software can be set to eight different intervention levels (six for dry conditions and two for wet conditions), allowing each rider to tailor the intervention to their riding style and grip conditions to achieve their best performance. To enhance top performance, DTC EVO 2 can be set to level 1 or 2 to intentionally spin the tires. Dynamic Slide Control (DSC) responds directly to the rider's demands, providing bike control previously only available to seasoned professional racers. When leaning the bike into a corner, the rider has a direct interface with the system, and when more than 120 Nm of torque is requested via the throttle, rear tyre spinning occurs beyond the traction control intervention level of DTC EVO 2. This allows for gentle oversteer that actually allows the rider to reverse the path of the rear tyre, while the system manages safety parameters.
