It incorporates a 46mm diameter piston and uses a forged aluminum cylinder head and aluminum cylinder body for lightweight construction.
The double nut type preload adjuster allows for stepless adjustment.
It has a 30-step extension adjustment function.

These settings are recommended when installing the "DU 044" on a Ducati Monster 600/900. Before riding, be sure to check that the Öhlins basic settings are in accordance with the recommended setting data. Also, read the Öhlins Owner's Manual for adjustments and settings before making any adjustments.

Please note the following when installing an Ohlins shock absorber.
●Please read the instructions in the Öhlins owner's manual carefully before starting work. Shock absorbers are important parts that affect the stability of the vehicle, so care must be taken.
●Please consider having it installed by an Öhlins Pro Shop. A dealer with the necessary expertise can install it correctly and safely.
●Please also refer to your vehicle's service manual. There may be vehicle-specific installation procedures and precautions listed.
●Please thoroughly clean the vehicle before installation. Dirt or foreign matter may cause installation problems or malfunction.
● Make sure that the Öhlins basic settings are in accordance with the recommended setting data. If you wish to change the settings, please refer to the Öhlins owner's manual or consult your Öhlins dealer.
●Tighten all screws to the specified torque. If they are not tightened enough, the parts may come loose, and if they are tightened too much, the parts may be damaged.
●Make sure there is nothing obstructing the movement of the shock absorber when the suspension is fully compressed or extended. If there is any interference, it will not function properly and may impair the stability of the vehicle.
