About us (DUCATISM, SPICK-co.)
We started business as SPICK&Co., a wholesaler of European imports, in Toshima-ku, Tokyo in 1994. It has already been 29 years since we started our European import business.
Initially, we focused on importing and selling luxury brand items made in France, Italy, and Switzerland, and with the cooperation of JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), we were interviewed by Fuji TV and fashion magazines, and in addition to retail sales, we also sold expensive brand items nationwide via online mail order, which was rare at the time in 1995. Because of this, we have a strict eye on trademark rights, and in order to eradicate counterfeits, we have been working with Chanel Co., Ltd., Hermes Japon, Gucci Japan, the Manseibashi Police Station in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Public Safety Commission to promote activities to protect trademark rights. This feeling continues to this day, and we do not handle any counterfeit products that infringe on trademark rights, so please rest assured. We promise you that.
While running his business, he realized that the delivery time and maintenance costs of genuine parts for maintaining his hobby DUCATI were too high, so he founded DUCATISM in 1999. He started by procuring expensive DUCATI genuine, repair and custom parts from domestic and overseas suppliers through his own network and selling them to domestic DUCATI owners on his own website. With the help of his friends, he decided to devote his life to the ultimate customization to create a fast machine while racing DUCATIs that he had personally modified, and narrowed his focus to the import and sale of genuine racing parts that people could trust with their lives, to this day.
Currently, we mainly import and sell genuine Italian DUCATI parts and racing parts. Leave your old and new Ducati parts to us. We also ship back-ordered items quickly by express air freight from Italy and European countries.
DUCATISM and SPICK-Co. aim to be sustainable organizations that are kind to the earth and to children. In order to protect the global environment, we introduced electric vehicles in October 2015, and from January 2021, we have been self-sufficient in all electricity we use with 100% natural energy (5.36kW solar power generation + 13.5kWh Tesla battery ). We operate our business in a way that passes on the energy cost savings we have made to our customers.
In order to conserve resources, we also use recycled cardboard, recycled paper, newspapers, etc. for packaging. Thank you for your understanding.
