This is a beautiful reproduction of the SMITHS Chronometric from the same UK manufacturer. The inside uses the latest electronic control to faithfully reproduce its movement.

The exterior has the same heavy, old-fashioned perfect atmosphere. It is the perfect match for old cars. It is also very popular with 4-wheelers.

The design of the old racing tachometer is reproduced with a stepping motor!

Re-released due to numerous requests. Product number: 242-ST901096 Comes with detailed installation instructions in Japanese and a 1-year warranty (user registration required)

The perfect match for old cars!

The design of the old racing tachometer and the latest technology of today are built in.

Reproduces the movement of the chronometric tachometer!

The driving needle display electrically reproduces the movement of the "chronometric tachometer" at revolutions below 4,000 rpm, which are mainly used on public roads.

At 4,000 rpm or more, the system automatically switches to a normal stepping display for more accurate rotation speed understanding for sports driving.

*Product images are for illustrative purposes only. The lighting is a little darker,,
Please make sure to check the function list and product details on the PC version before ordering.

At 4,000 rpm or more, the system automatically switches to normal stepping display for more accurate rotation speed understanding for sports driving)
Meter panel color: Black
Meter panel lighting: White (amber color) The lighting is indirect lighting that emphasizes atmosphere rather than transparent lighting.

Best match for old cars!
It incorporates the design of a racing tachometer from the past and the latest technology of today.

In pursuit of simple functionality as a tachometer, it uses a STACK stepping motor driven needle, the same heart of the highest quality tachometer "Tack Timer". This stepping motor movement is the pinnacle of proven stepping motors that have been researched and developed by engineers since STACK manufactured tachometers 15 years ago. The only moving part of the Stack stepping motor is the central axis of the needle. Moreover, the axis is firmly fixed at both ends by ball bearings and is designed to withstand harsh racing environments such as vibration, tilt, acceleration and deceleration G, etc. The feature of the Stack stepping motor is that the needle does not shake due to vibration, etc., or over-display due to inertia. In addition, the needle responds accurately and instantly to the engine speed through digital control using unique software. This is impossible with a normal electric tachometer, let alone a mechanical tachometer. Even with a compressed scale displayed to match a high-speed engine, the Stack tachometer is the easiest to read the engine speed, and is the most accurate and strongest tachometer.

It can be used regardless of the ignition system such as full-transistor, semi-transistor, CDI, battery, etc. (Please note that it may not function properly on some vehicles that use special ignition timing.)
*For Harley Davidson Sportsters, etc., it may not display the correct RPM.

Completely waterproof, so it can be used without problems even in open-top cars and motorcycles that are directly exposed to wind and rain.

This tachometer cannot display the correct RPM on vehicles with special ignition systems that do not have equal intervals between ignition signals.
It cannot display the correct RPM on vehicles that cannot detect equal interval ignition signals, such as vehicles with uneven ignition intervals, vehicles that perform multiple ignitions only at specific RPM ranges, and vehicles that have ignition control such as intentional misfires.
Please use only on vehicles that can detect ignition signals continuously at equal intervals.
<<Examples of vehicles where it is difficult to detect the evenly spaced ignition signal>>
Harley Sportster 883 series (vehicles with single coil + simultaneous ignition of front and rear cylinders)
Buell S1, M2, X1, etc. Vehicles equipped with Harley Sportster 883 series engines and ignition systems
Honda CRM250AR, etc. Vehicles where the ignition signal input to the ignition coil does not match the engine speed
